This week in Year 2 we had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day!

The children had great fun taking part in lots of activities all related to books and reading. I was super impressed with the effort everyone put into their costumes. The children looked fantastic and really got into the spirit of the day.

One of the highlights was trying to guess who the Masked Reader was! The children loved listening carefully to the clues and making their predictions. There was lots of excitement as everyone tried to work out the mystery.

In the afternoon, we relaxed and enjoyed our very own “Starbooks Café”. The children brought their favourite books, spent time colouring, and enjoyed some peaceful reading with biscuits and popcorn. It was a lovely way to celebrate our love of stories and books together.

Well done Year 2 for such fantastic enthusiasm and participation!
