What a wonderful week back we’ve had in Year 1! We started our new learning in PE all about dodgeball. The children loved practising and refining their throwing skills, working on their aim and technique. By the end of the week, we even built up to playing a mini game of dodgeball with another group of four — it was so much fun!

We also had a very exciting visit from Falconry UK. We met a range of amazing birds, including Bailey the white-faced owl and Blu the blue-winged kookaburra. Some of us were even lucky enough to hold the birds and take part in a special photoshoot with them! It was a truly fascinating experience, and we learned so much about these incredible creatures.
