7th November - History detectives

In our history lesson this week, we learned about what history is and how we find out about events and people from the past. We explored the idea that history helps us understand how things have changed over time and why the world is the way it is today. Our key word for the lesson was chronology, which means the order in which events happen. To help us understand this better, we each created our own timelines showing the most important moments in our lives so far. This helped us see how our personal histories can be organised in time, just like the events we study from the past.
