3rd February - Author Visit

We were absolutely delighted to welcome Paula Harrison, children's author, to our school today.  Paula was a primary school teacher and spent many years teaching.  This allowed her to identify what children like in stories and how they respond to humour and suspense; this enabled Paula to go on to be a highly successful author.  Her latest series, 'Animagicals' launched in January 2026 and is all about a group of children who can change into animals and the adventures they have at Wild Haven, a magical school.  Our key stage 2 pupils were excited to have the opportunity to hear about Paula's writing and her love of books!  We hope visits like this continue to inspire our children to keep writing every day!
