24th April - Healthy bodies
In our PSHE lesson this week, we learned about how to keep our bodies healthy. We discussed the importance of following good daily routines, including eating a balanced diet and getting regular exercise. As part of our learning, we worked in groups on an activity where we matched different types of food to the amount of sugar they contain, and some of the results really surprised us. To help us understand this better, we used bags of sugar and weighing scales to measure out how much sugar is in certain foods. This showed us why it is so important to make healthy choices.
