19th September - Sandpit Secrets

This week we have started to look into the Ancient Egyptians for our history topic! 

First we thought about what chronological order might mean and examples.

We discussed what we imagined when thinking about the Ancient Egyptians, sharing our ideas as a class.

We then dug in the sand in our groups, uncovering different artifacts lost in the sands. We discussed as groups what they could be made out of and what they could have been used for.

After this, we started to think about where the Ancient Egyptians sit in history, and constructed a time line together as groups, locating where other key moments in history are.
