11 September - Toys, tunes and tales

We have had lots of fun beginning our new History topic, Toys past and present. The children loved talking about their favourite toys and using lots of exciting describing words to tell us all about them.

In Literacy, we became poets and worked together to create our very own class poem inspired by our school book, The River and the Tree.

We also had our very first Music lesson, where we listened carefully, found the pulse and enjoyed moving along to 'Hey You!' What a busy and brilliant week of learning!
