13th February - Art Week 

This week in year 5 we have enjoyed our Art topic: observational drawing.

We have studied the artwork of Vincent Van Gough, focussing on the different line movements he used in his work. Then we practised using different lines to create different moods including: continuous lines, cross hatching, straight lines, curved lines and spiral lines. From this, we created a piece of artwork inspired by Van Gogh’s lines and finished off with an observational drawing.
