Happy Monday

Hello Year 6!

It certainly feels like it’s been a very long 6 weeks – and yet it’s kind of gone quick too.  I really do hope that you and your families are all well and taking care of each other.

What have you been doing to keep yourselves busy and entertained?  I’ve still been doing plenty of running, walking and reading, and I’ve also been learning a lot of new recipes to cook and bake (it’s true!)  Have you learned any new skills and improved any talents since we’ve been in lockdown?

Today starts the beginning of your next Home Learning Pack and I have put the Maths answers at the back so that you can use them as a Pitstop.  Please do email me if you have any questions about the packs at all.  The suggested activities for Science and D and T require a couple of basic resources but you could do these on different days if it’s more convenient for you.

It’s been lovely to receive emails from you to let me know what you’ve been up to.  Please continue to do this and let me know how you are; definitely let me know if you’ve learnt to do something new or improved a skill, such as make a cup of tea, perfect a dance move, cook a simple meal or juggle with three lemons!

Keep smiling Year 6 and hopefully see you all soon.  I’ve obviously missed you all lots!
