We have had an energetic week in Year 6 this week! As part of our Science unit we have been learning about how the circulatory system works. This week, we investigated what happened to our heart rate when we exercised and made a graph. We also designed a work out that exercised different muscle groups.

Well done to the children who took part in the cross-country run this week – you were very brave and determined to run your best, with some very good results!

For the end of our History learning this half term about the Viking and Anglo-Saxon struggle for control of England, we learnt about how the Normans defeated the Anglo-Saxons at the Battle of Hastings in 1066. We then re-enacted the battle!
