Over the week, Metro Bank visited us to teach us how saving and borrowing money in a bank works. We then visited our local Metro Brank in Hemel Hempstead. We used our estimating skills with different amounts of money, then used the “Magic Money Machine” to calculate the exact amount. We also learnt about how important saving money is, and that you can start saving “penny by penny, pound by pound”. We also watched how a machine makes debit cards.
We also visited the vault and had to guess which safety deposit box had a secret stash of lollies!

Have a relaxing long weekend.
