Year 5 – Climate Change Heroes

This week Year 5 have shown a real maturity and positive attitude towards tackling the issue of climate change. We have been watching our daily episodes of Newsround to keep us in the loop with the progress being discussed at COP26, and have held many conversations about the issue within class. In a help to stop the effects of climate change we took it upon ourselves to go litter picking around the school, to help keep Two Waters litter free.

Every member of Year 5 showed the enthusiasm and drive to get the job done, and collected a total of 6 bags of rubbish. I couldn’t be prouder of them all this week, they really are changing the way they think and are all making a conscious effort to make the world a green place.

Have a super weekend, and keep safe at the fireworks.
