Synagogue Visit

Year 5 represented the school with pride this week as we visited St Albans Synagogue. We learnt more about the history of the Jewish faith and also had the opportunity to try some kosher food. The children thoroughly enjoyed the honey bread that was offered and many wanted to try and make this at home. So if anyone would like the recipe please do not hesitate to get in touch. Not only this, the children were able to view and touch many of the sources of wisdom from the Jewish faith. It was wonderful to hear the children so animated about the Torah and too witness them asking such mature and on topic questions to go along side this.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the sunshine.

Take care,

Mrs Croucher
