Remembrance Day

This morning during our assembly time, we watched a special assembly online all about remembrance day. It allowed all the children to develop their understanding of the importance of the day share a moment reflection to think about all those who have lost so much so we can live so freely. I was truly touched by the respect and understanding that year 5 showed and I’m very proud of how they acted throughout the assembly.

Our Geography lessons this week have seen us debate and tackle the on-going issue of climate change. This week the children in class discussed ideas of how we could raise more awareness of this issue and made a poster showing ways in which we can all help.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back next Monday.
