Friday 14th October

We have finally come to the end of another busy week at school, and the children in year 5 have yet again been working extremely hard to complete all the challenging work within their lessons. We specifically enjoyed our latest science experiment based on water resistance and working out and predicting the times in which different shapes of plasticine dropped to the bottom of a cylinder. We used words such a ‘surface area’ within our conclusions to demonstrate our new understanding of this force.

We are looking forward to art week next week, and have got some fun and exciting lessons to engage within throughout the week. We will be taking our learning from the ideas of Henri Rousseau and will be developing our art skills though water colours.

Just a reminder that we have got our parents evening next week so if you haven’t yet managed to book a slot please make sure you get this done before next week. If there are any problems please dont hesitate to get in touch with me and we can sort something out.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend,

Mrs Croucher
