Year 4’s Week 3! (19.11.21)

Another exciting week has passed and Year 4 has done amazingly again. As usual, this week was full of exciting learning. We started our new Literacy unit based on a marvellous book, ‘The Biscuit Bear’. We are targeting our young audience this time. Hence, we are learning all those grammatical skills which would help us engage our young readers. In Maths, we are learning multiplication and division and its useful application in real life context. Science has been very LOUD as we learnt about pitch and how it is impacted by the frequency of sound waves. We used a number of objects around us to conduct mini-investigations. In Geography, we headed out onto out KS2 playground and sketched it to instil the true understanding of human and physical features. PE has never been so much fun before! We are learning different Yoga poses as well as polishing our Netball skills. Our matches are extremely professional and competitive but cordial at the same time where our players are supporting each other and building strong skills of teamwork. Finally, the most exciting part of the week. In Music, Year 4 is learning to play Glockenspiels- Stage 2 !

Have a lovely weekend.

Kind Regards,

Mrs. Rafique
