Year 4- Week 3 (23.09.22)

We had another amazing week! Thanks to all the children who worked incredibly hard and produced high-quality work! In Literacy, we researched by retrieving information from a text about Africa and its amazing countries. Later, we write a non-chronological report about them. The whole class worked really hard to include a variety of punctuation and grammar tools to enhance their writing. In Maths, we continued with the learning of place value and now calculating numbers over 10, 000. It was a delight to see the majority of the children taking up ‘going deeper’ challenges! We had a sweet Science this week (literally) where we planned our investigation for the next week. Watch the space for more information. All we can tell for now is that we will be observing the change of state of a very sweet matter! Well done Year 4! You have worked really hard this week. Hope you have a well-rested weekend and I will see you on Monday.

Kind Regards,

Mrs Rafique
