It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! (02/12/22)

We are gearing up for a brilliant December this year with lots of learning and super fun. In Literacy, we used a number of strategies to edit our work ensuring that we are incorporating prior learning. We continued to learn various techniques to measure area of a rectilinear shape. In Science, we put our scientific hat on and designed simple scientific investigations to test the impact of distance on the sound we hear. In Geography, we visited North America (virtually) and explored human features of different North American countries. In French, we learned numbers from 1-70. It was DECO DAY FRIDAY! We are making something super exciting! Learning is constant for Year 4 so we incorporated our knowledge of sculpture making from previous years and made … Christmas tree ornaments! We also made calendars, paper chains and some high quality Christmas cards for family and friends.

Have a lovely weekend.

Kind Regards,

Mrs. Rafique
