Year 4’s Week 5! (25.03.22)

What a fantastic week! Year 4 is very proud to present their very own electric quiz game board. We finished off our science unit with a bang and used a circuit to create a simple board game. Children showed immense resilience and perseverance when creating their devices as they are very delicate and the circuits kept on breaking. However, they soon learned how to secure them and were very proud of their creations. In Maths, we continued with decimals and have completed learning about tenths and hundredths. We used them in real-life scenarios as well to prepare us for adult life! In Literacy, we started a new unit based on, ‘The day I swapped my dad for two goldfish’. It’s a fantastic inspirational book for persuasive writing. In French, we continued learning about different plants and their habitats. In RE, we discussed the ultimate question of how showing individual commitment to the faith is a challenge for some people and what are the roles and responsibilities of a good religious leader.

Not long for the Easter holidays!

Have a lovely weekend.

Kind Regards,

Mrs. Rafique
