Map makers and bounce experts!

This week in geography we went on a walk around the local area to help create our own map. We sketched a rough route of our walk around the estate and identified human and physical geography on our way such as, a train station, the park, a golf course and a huge playing field. The walk really helped the children to understand the 8 compass points and they worked really hard designing and making a map of their local area using clear keys and symbols.

Also this week, despite the lovely heatwave the children thoroughly enjoyed the sponsored bounce and had lots of fun on all three of the inflatables. They made sure they drank plenty of water to fuel their energy and cool them down.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend,

Miss Hurrell
