Welcome Back Year 4!

What a lovely start to the year! I hope you all had a lovely holiday. It has been fantastic to see you all, full of energy and eager to learn. This week we spent a good amount of time getting to know each other and making sure that we are all clear about the expectations. I have to say that I am very pleased with the high standards of etiquettes year 4 has shown, whether it is making their way sensibly and quietly to the assembly or getting on with their work. I enjoyed all the brilliant ideas we discussed to find different numbers using only Four 4s and employing all arithmetic operations. We also wrote a diary entry and I am very pleased with the rich vocabulary I encountered. I hope you all enjoyed travelling back thousands of years and digging in the sand to find some ancient Egyptian artefacts!
