Number day and lots of planting!

We’ve had a super exciting week at school this week. We planted some wonderful seeds in our new planters and can’t wait for them to blossom into some wonderful plants. We also had a fun packed day on Number Day making 3D shapes out of biscuits such as Triangular prisms. We also measured out our own ingredients for our delicious smoothies and all enjoyed drinking and eating our wonderful masterpieces. Children also came dressed for the part and I loved all their costumes.
Finally as part of our whole school unit on ‘Coming to England’ by Floella Benjamin the children have thoroughly enjoyed learning about her life and I have been so impressed with our discussions and writing we have produced this week.
