After a beautiful Bank Holiday weekend, we were lucky enough that the sun stayed with us into the school week. The children have thoroughly enjoyed our sunny Rounders lessons where some fantastic fielding and impressive batting could be seen. We have also made a start with our gardening plot, in which we are creating a Victory Garden to tie in with our World War II theme next half term (when we hope our vegetables and herbs will be harvested). The children have worked their socks off creating their Journey stories in literacy, drafting and re-drafting their work to show off their ambitious vocabulary and editing skills. Maths has seen us move on from decimals to Angles and the children have had fun exploring protractors and measuring angles around the classroom.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend!
