Staff Profiles

 

Headteacher -  Mr Gately:-

I am the Headteacher at Two Waters School. I have a degree in English, a PGCE from the University of Hertfordshire, and recently gained a Masters qualification in Education from the University of Cambridge. I was previously the Deputy Headteacher at this school for four years and have helped to guide the school on its journey of improvement alongside an exceptional and dedicated staff. I am passionate about education and strive to ensure that we provide a community school where creativity and rigour go hand in hand. 

 

 

Year 6 - Mrs B Chassebi:-

I am the KS2 Leader, Subject Leader for KS2 Literacy, Computing and Wellbeing. I also support the School Council.

Year 5 - Mrs A Hunter:-

I graduated from The University of Hertfordshire, following the completion of a three year Bachelor of Education degree.  Having completed two student placements at Two Waters over the past three years, I am now delighted to teach Year 5.  My aim is to firmly instil the school’s value of ‘proud to achieve, proud to care’ at the heart of year 5, creating a fun, engaging and challenging environment where children can enjoy their learning and achieve their best.

Year 4 - Miss S Wadmore:-

I am pleased to start my third year in teaching in Year 4. I have a BA (Hons) degree in Primary Education which I obtained at Middlesex University in London.  I am the subject leader for Science

 

Year 3 & Deputy Headteacher:  Miss H Shay:-

I am the Deputy Headteacher, SENCo (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator), R.E. Subject Leader, PHSE Subject Leader and Child Protection Deputy and will be teaching Year 3 along side Mrs Lemarie.

Year 3 - Mrs L Lemarie:-

I became the Year 1 teacher in September 2013. I have a degree in English Literature and a PGCE from the University of Hertfordshire. I am the subject leader for History & Geography. I completed the National SENCO award last year and was able to conduct in depth research during this course which has supported my professional development. 

Year 2 - Mr S Hakner:-

I am delighted to be teaching Year 2 at Two Waters Primary School. I have a degree in Primary Education specialising in Mathematics from the University of Hertfordshire which I gained in 2008. I am subject Co-ordinator for Mathematics and am also the Assessment Co-ordinator. I have a passion for education and strive to ensure all children achieve their full potential.

Year 1 - Miss H Sperling:-

 

Reception Class - Miss B Ward:-

I joined Two Waters as the Reception class teacher and Foundation Stage Leader, beginning an exciting new chapter in my career. I have six years of experience teaching in both Reception and Year 1. My training began with a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, and I continued on to study a B.A Hons Degree in Primary Education at University of West of England. I am passionate about teaching and highly committed to delivering quality care and education for the children, leading the Early Years team and inspiring the children with a love for learning.   I am the Literacy subject leader for the EYFS and KS1, Music and I am leading Forest Schools and outdoor Learning across the school.

Nursery - Miss E Mitchell:-

I am currently in my four year of teaching and have joined Two Waters after being a Reception teacher of a school in Watford. I have a BA Hons degree in Primary Education (3-7 years) from the University of Brighton. I am the subject leader for PE.

 

Miss J Jeal:-  currently on maternity leave

I have a degree in Geography from the University of Sussex and a PGCE from Middlesex University.  Before the PGCE I worked as a TA in a large North London School.  

 

Teaching Assistants/Support Staff

Mrs S Crisci - 

I have been working at Two Waters School for over 7 years, firstly as an MSA and then progressing to a Teaching Assistant. I have experience in working with a range of year groups from Reception to Year 6. I am currently a Teaching Assistant in Year 5, and also support Years 2, 3, and 5 in the afternoons. As well as my classroom duties, I also provide admin support to the busy school office. In my previous life I have worked in a Quality Control Laboratory for a pharmaceutical company for six years and also for Kodak Ltd as a technologist, providing worldwide technical support for prepress consumables for 20 years. I have enjoyed working with the children and the staff at the school and look forward to the coming years.

Mrs H Bennett - Food Technology 

I am the Food Technology Instructor. I am a qualified Chef and have over 20 years experience in the food industry. I joined Two Waters in January 2006. I also enjoy working as a T.A. in Year 6 three mornings a week.

Mrs J Barnes

My name is Jackie Barnes and I have been working at Two Waters for 17 years. I started working in the Nursery and worked there for 8 years. I then followed the children up into Reception and worked in this class for two years. I am now working in Year 3. After studying at college for two years I am NNEB qualified as a Nursery Nurse.

Mrs S Greeves 

I first became a part of the Two Waters community when I joined the FTW back in 2000 when my son started Nursery. I then started working as an MSA at the school in 2006 and then progressed to a Teaching Assistant the following year. I have worked with Nursery, Year 2 and Year 4 and am now currently in back in Nursery. Prior to Two Waters, I have worked as a Beauty Therapist, and as a Credit Advisor at BP Oil.

Videlina Gelborova

I am a Teaching Assistant in Reception Class. I joined the Two Waters Early Years team in November 2014. I truly enjoy interaction with children and have been working full time with children since January 2005 in various roles and settings. In July 2011 I completed the Level 4 Certificate in Early Years Practice with Open University. I am inspired to support children in creating wonderful memories and long lasting love of learning.
